Ger Duany is a Sudanese-born actor and model, and a former child soldier and refugee. Today, Duany works with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to support young refugees and their education. Duany is also an author and has written a book, “Walking Toward the Rising Sun, From Child Soldier to Ambassador of Peace” about his journey from a child soldier to an international peace activist and Hollywood actor.
